About the artist-

Tim Lantz is a freelance photographer from Taylors Falls, Minnesota. He combines his artistic passion with a lifetime of experience in wildlife and the outdoors, to capture stunning and captivating moments in nature, specializing in landscape, wildlife and outdoor abstract photography.

Often times, it’s the little things in nature, that most don’t see, that capture his eye and imagination.

A person sitting on the grass near a body of water, taking a photograph with a camera, during sunset with trees in the foreground.
A yellow mushroom with white spots growing among fallen autumn leaves, with some green plants nearby.
A snowy shoreline with a leafless tree in the foreground, a misty body of water, and an island with evergreen trees in the background at sunset.
A loon bird is diving into the water with its head and upper body submerged, wings spread out, in a lake with a blurred green and brown background.
A young deer standing in a snowy forest surrounded by snow-covered green trees, with snowflakes falling.

“Photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving. What you have caught on film is captured forever… It remembers little things, long after you have forgotten everything.”
― Aaron Siskind

"Study nature, love nature, stay close to nature." – Henry David Thoreau.

Black and white photograph of a forest scene with tall trees and dense foliage. In the foreground, a weathered stone structure, possibly a chimney or ruin, stands amidst the undergrowth. The photograph has a moody, atmospheric feel with light filtering through the canopy.
